About Rays of Hope

Rays of Hope for Bulgaria is a Christian based ministry. Our mission is to share hope to Bulgaria's orphans and underprivileged Roma communities. We do this by funding educational scholarships, sponsoring orphanages, and supporting local ministry efforts in the Roma community. Through these three areas of service, we plant seeds of the gospel and disciple these relationships for a more holistic approach. We believe this gives hopeful opportunity for the future in the lives of those we serve. 

Statement of Faith:
 
We believe in the trinity of God the father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit working through the unified body of Christ.  Ephesians 4:3-6

That God the father sent His only son to die for our sins.  John 3:16-18

We are saved through His grace and our faith.  Romans 8

Prayer is a powerful tool and important part of our relationship with God.  James 5: 13-16

We are called to live out the faith we profess as those having a renewed and transformed Spirit because of Christ’s love and mercy for us.   Romans 12:2

We believe sharing the gospel beyond our own borders as Jesus commanded for us to “go and make disciples of all nations.”  Matthew 28:19

God has a heart for the oppressed and the orphans. He has commanded us to care for them.  James 1:27, Isaiah 1:17

We were created to glorify the Lord. Psalms 148

​He has given us Hope through His sacrifice and the promise of His return.  Romans 5:20-21, Hebrews 10:37-39
